How to procrastinate

Goal for today: Start and finish reaction paper for Ethics Class which is due the next day

What I did today before starting my paper:

1. Went to work.
2. Gave advice, which came from my Mom, to an officemate whose husband she thinks is cheating.
3. Actually worked during the morning.
4. Had lunch with Leny and Connie at Timpla, Paseo Center (the four cheese pizza tastes good and is cheap).
5. Bought two ponytails.
6. Did some long overdue work aka cramming.
7. Took a break - which meant exchanging a couple of instant messages with Jas, checking my Yahoo Mail, Gmail and Friendster.
8. Paid Smart Cellphone Bill and bought Dream Satellite Prepaid. On my way there, I bought Body Shop's Lip and Cheek Stain which was on sale - 50% off!!!
9. Went home.
10. Switched on TV to check if satellite dish is indeed working.
11. Watched TV (hey! it's already on so sayang naman) - Extra Challenge (never knew that Wendell Ramos and Joyce Jimenez are an item), The Making of Usher's Confessions Music Video, parts of Sleeping with an enemy, and Sex and the City.
12. Connected to the internet to check my e-mail and say 'hi' to Leny through YM.
13. Logged off because thought Red was going to call.
14. Started on my reaction paper - I am now finished with the first page and still thinking of what BS to put on the second page. In reality, here is what I want to write.

I've seen Two Weeks Notice two years ago. To be more specific, I saw it with Red in Festival Mall during my birthday. The movie was OK but nothing spectacular. In fact, it's being shown in HBO but I skip HBO when it's on. Truth is, I had to spend P15 to rent the vcd and watch it again because I can't really remember the whole story in detail. But I remember that Norah Jones was in that movie and she sang beautifully and I could have cried during the first time I watched it. The formal dress that Sandra Bullock looked really great and I would love to have a dress like that if only I were as tall as Sandra Bullock. I still don't like Hugh Grant and I can't remember any movie I liked which starred Hugh Grant.

If I could have just written that small piece above and submit it to my prof without flunking the course, I could be sleeping right now. But since I have to write 2 pages worth of reaction using Arial Size 12, I am still not finished.

Well, I gotta go and finish my paper. I have to get some sleep because I can't be late. I have to be out of the house by the time Ogie Diaz and Nina Corpuz finish their showbiz balita in Magandang Umaga Bayan.

Who is Maan?

Very talkative, very frank to the point of being tactless. Major hyper active and super kulit. Tampuhin, selosa and madalas may topak. Psychotic but bearable most of the time. Pakialamera. Addicted to those excel quizzes and surveys forwarded through e-mail. Have learned how to say no to FREE FOOD and resist the temptation of buffets. Listens to The Morning Rush with Chico and Delamar and is a major fan of Sex and the City. Fiercely loyal to friends (especially the under dogs). Can't dance, can't sing, can't act but very OA (Outstanding Actress). Doesn't smoke, drink nor do drugs but definitely a great girl to hang out with (sagot ko na ang kwento). Cynical on the outside but a hopeless romantic deep inside. Tries not cry over a guy but will shed buckets of tears while watching a movie. Escapes from the real world by reading books, watching movies,and tv shows. Dreams of travelling the world someday and joining The Amazing Race with a friend who knows how to swim, ride a bike and drive a car.
