The Internet, My Life

I cannot get enough of the internet! I am hooked! I am addicted!

The internet is actually the only thing I can get addicted to without me getting allergies or getting fat. So I guess it's quite OK.

Truth is, I am an Internet Pusher. I push/force/influence my officemates to log into the internet when they get home so we can chat. Yes, chat. After talking to each other in the office for more than 8 hours, I am still not content. I still want to chat with them and use our webcams and microphones so we can see and hear each other.

Let me tell you about one of my officemates/friends I've successfully turned from a gimmick girl to a cyber freak. Leny is a 100% gimmick girl just before she met Alvin. But now, Oh Man! Look at Leny now. When I ask her out to watch a movie or just hang out, she's tamad na and would rather stay home and chat! Damn! Ako yun dati ah - the girl who would rather connect to the internet than go on a gimmick with friends.

So Leny and I chat with each other almost every night. We also got CK and Kartika into this chatting thing. CK will actually buy a webcam and a microphone for her PC; nainggit coz Leny and I have mics and we do voice chats. CK can hear us, but she can't talk! Haha!

Anyway, while I was surfing and reading the messages at Grabeh, I found out that there is already such a thing as Philippine Blog Awards. I saw Karla in the list of semi-finalists so I visited her blog, Rocker's World, and it was so cool! Yan ang produkto ng MEM ng DLSU! I also clicked on the links of the other semi-finalists and one blog caught my eye: are you in the mood for some dude? I loved the blog because the lay-out is so simple and easy to navigate. The Dude Radio also added a lot of pogi points to the blog since the songs being
played are the songs played by the band of the blog owner.

I'm hoping that either Karla or the Dude Blog wins the blog awards. This year is their chance. Baka next year sumali ako dyan at tuluyan na silang mawalan ng pag-asa. Haha! In my dreams!

Very talkative, very frank to the point of being tactless. Major hyper active and super kulit. Tampuhin, selosa and madalas may topak. Psychotic but bearable most of the time. Pakialamera. Addicted to those excel quizzes and surveys forwarded through e-mail. Have learned how to say no to FREE FOOD and resist the temptation of buffets. Listens to The Morning Rush with Chico and Delamar and is a major fan of Sex and the City. Fiercely loyal to friends (especially the under dogs). Can't dance, can't sing, can't act but very OA (Outstanding Actress). Doesn't smoke, drink nor do drugs but definitely a great girl to hang out with (sagot ko na ang kwento). Cynical on the outside but a hopeless romantic deep inside. Tries not cry over a guy but will shed buckets of tears while watching a movie. Escapes from the real world by reading books, watching movies,and tv shows. Dreams of travelling the world someday and joining The Amazing Race with a friend who knows how to swim, ride a bike and drive a car.
